The Founder - Vidhi Gupta
I am a Montessori-trained teacher from the Academy of Progressive Montessori, Kolkata, and a certified Jolly Phonics educator. Before starting Little Nerds, I had the privilege of working at a reputed playschool in Kolkata, where I discovered the joy and fulfillment that comes from nurturing young minds.
Teaching children has always been more than just a profession for me—it is my true calling. The curiosity, innocence, and boundless energy of little ones inspired me to create a space where learning is not confined to books but is instead an engaging, joyful, and holistic experience.
With this vision, I started Little Nerds—a safe and welcoming environment where children can explore, imagine, and grow at their own pace. My goal has always been to combine fun with purposeful learning and to introduce multiple classes under one roof, so that children can experience a variety of skills, from academics to creativity, all in one nurturing space.
At Little Nerds, every child is celebrated as unique, and we focus on fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning from the very beginning.

We maintain a low student-teacher ratio, allowing teachers to observe, interact, and support each child closely.
Activities are personalised as per each child’s learning style, pace, and interest.
Teachers constantly engage in one-on-one conversations, helping children express themselves confidently.
Regular feedback and gentle redirection ensure that no child feels left out or unnoticed.

I am a Montessori-trained teacher from IMC with experience teaching at Young Learners.
At present, I teach Language, Mathematics, and Hindi at Little Nerds. Teaching is not just my profession but my passion—I approach every child with love, compassion, and patience.
I strongly believe that every child has the potential to become a champion; all he needs is a teacher who believes in him and never gives up.

FT Rajendra Singh is a highly experienced chess professional with over three decades of contribution to Indian chess. He serves as Vice President of Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha (SBDS) and Kolkata District Chess Association (KDCA), and is a Member of the Research & Development Committee, All India Chess Federation (AICF).
A former West Bengal State Champion (1992), he has represented India as Manager-cum-Coach at the World Championship of Juniors & Youth in Bratislava, Slovak Republic (1993). He has participated in prestigious events such as the Lloyds Bank International Masters, London (1987), and the Goodricke International Open, Kolkata.
He is currently the Chess Coach at South Point High School, South Point School, P.B. Academic School, Singapore Cricket Club, The Bengal Rowing Club, and Royal Calcutta Golf Club.

She is a passionate science educator with over 7 years of experience teaching and designing engaging STEM activities for children. With a background in Biochemistry and a deep love for hands-on learning, she specializes in turning everyday objects into exciting experiments that spark curiosity.
Her workshops are designed to make young learners (ages 3–14) explore, question, and discover the wonders of science in a playful and age-appropriate way. She believes that children learn best through creativity, exploration, and fun—values that she brings to every session.
Jayshree has worked with students from leading schools in Kolkata and has developed a unique approach that combines storytelling, simple experiments, and interactive challenges to nurture a lifelong love for learning.
Through her STEM workshops, she aims to help children see science not just as a subject, but as a joyful adventure full of surprises and discoveries.

With over 3.5 years of experience in teaching robotics and building to students, I possess a strong background in designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. My expertise includes:

Akriti Arora
I’m a certified Music Together teacher with a deep love for teaching little ones and creating joyful learning experiences. My journey began during Covid, when I started designing educational aids for kids—simple tools to help them learn through play even while at home. What started as a creative outlet soon turned into my passion and purpose.
Today, I continue that same philosophy through storytelling classes with Vidhi Gupta, along with workshops, play dates, and interactive sessions for children aged 6 months to 6 years. Each session is thoughtfully designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and connection.
My heart truly lies in parent-toddler classes—creating moments where parents and children can learn, bond, and make memories together through music, movement, and play.
